I'm just now getting into using Subtitle Workshop as I just continue to run into subs that are not in sync with a movie. I don't think I've quite got the hang of everything though. All I've gone by so far, is this thread on afterdawn: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/762694
Any further tips and shortcuts, other than the help menu on the program, would be appreciated. I just want to don't to have to spend all day having to totally re-edit a sub!

what kind of sync problem do you have? same out of the sync the entire movie or does it get worse?

I've had both types, but yesterday I was trying to get get one particular sub to sync up in Subtitle Workshop and I had to adjust things almost every minute. I quickly realized that it would take me all day to complete the whole project, so I aborted, went back online and downloaded a different sub for the movie and it worked fine.
