I've been busy ripping old Digital8 video tapes to hard disk, and I just got a new cam that stores AVCHD m2ts. Is there a good program that will easily convert both of these formats so that they can be played through the 360? If not an all-in-one, what's the best for each? I'd like to retain the 5.1 from the HD stuff if possible.
I am going to retain the original source media for archival purposes, but I wouldn't mind having some 360-ready versions for easy access.
I've found a couple of threads on here, but they seemed a little dated.
Thanks
