I have searced the forum and how to guides but have not been able to find an answer to my question. I am trying to create a hightlight video from multiple videos (DVD's). I want to take clips from each video (DVD) and ultimately compile all of them together into one .AVI file. I followed baldricks guide "How to cut out clips from DVDs and convert to AVI, MP4 using free software". I was able to cut out the clips I wanted from each video and compile them all into one DVD using DVD Shrink. The problem is when I try to create a .AVI file with WinFF, instead of making one complete file it makes a seperate file for each video clip which is its own unique VOB. How do I make it create just one .AVI? Am I using the correct tools and following the correct guide?

    Thanks in advance

Try unchecking the option DVDShrink/Edit/Preferences/Output Files/Split VOB...

Did you try just selecting the first VOB in WinFF and let it automatically process the rest ?

Once you cut all your clips, did you then re-author and add them all into a single DVD-Video structure in DVDShrink ? That would give you sequentially numbered VOB's which I think would then work to add each of them into WinFF and have it produce a single AVI.
