I use VLC 0.9.9 to play ripped DVDs (.VOB) from a Network Drive.

I recently found and installed DVD Play 0.2 which should allow me to create a one click media library.

DVD play sees all my DVDs but when I click on a movie, VLC gives me the following error:

VLC can't recognize the input's format:
The format of 'C:\\YServer.txt' cannot be detected. Have a look the log for details.
    File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "/C:\".
    Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///C:\'. Check the log for details.
    File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "/W:\".
    Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///W:\'. Check the log for details.
    File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "/X:\".
    Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///X:\'. Check the log for details.
    File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "/Y:\".
    Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///Y:\'. Check the log for details.
    File reading failed:
VLC could not open the file "/Z:\".

    Is there an easy fix?

Apologies for my ignorance, but I had never heard of "DVD Play" until today.
Is it the same as "HP DVD Play", supposedly made by Macromedia
I have just Googled for it, and found many pages containing lots of complaints
about DVD Play — possibly it's interfering with your VLC.
