I am having the hardest time finding a software program to do what I need. I need software to convert various video formats to 24-bit non-compressed AVI without sound. The lowest bit rate i have found for video converters is 64-bit. Its for my Panasonic CQ-C8803U headunit in my car that can display short video clips. This is a link to the Panasonic image studio instructions.

If the format isn't correct the panasonic software gives an error
    help please

The "24 bit" requirement has nothing to do with the bitrate. They are saying the avi has to use 24-bit color.

I Googled "avi 24 bit" to find out what they meant. Since I don't work with avis I can't give any more help.

  3. Try VirtualDub. The default action is to convert to uncompressed 24 bit RGB. Disable any audio by selecting Audio -> No Audio.

I don't think this is really what you want though.
