Hey now -
I'm uploading some video (80mb) to my sites through my dialup connection (I know...)
Looking for a free FTP client that resumes automatically when my isp connection is dropped.
Filezilla doesn't resume unless you stop it on purpose...not if it's broken.
I test by unplugging my phone line...XPP redials and reestablishes a connection.
Now all I need is a free FTP client that resumes the upload automatically while I'm asleep...

http://www.smartftp.com/download/
or

Check with webspace provider if they support file transfer resumption, not all do. -
I've noticed with FileZilla that the setting the default "resume" actually overwrites when the connection is dropped then re-established.
I'll be ok by setting it to "ask" for these dubious tasks. At least I won't lose what I've uploaded and will now get the "resume" option.
Thx
