Try also smplayer and Media Player Classic.

If it still wont work then give us the details from the ts, use MediaInfo, open the ts, change to View->Text and copy and paste the information in this topic.

  3. MPCHC has many more file splitter and A/V decoders built in. For example, if your ts file has h.264 encoded video MPCHC will play it whereas MPC won't (unless you have a DirectShow h.264 encoder installed).

Try ConvertXtoDVD. Or the free FAVC or DVD Flick might work.

i would use sm or mpchc. but if it is h.264 or avchd i choose mirillis splash. new player from mirillis. this is continuation of oxygen avchd player i think coz looks the same, but plays h.264/avchd much faster than old oxygen. it is also faster than vlc and ffdshow,
but it doesnt support mpeg-2 yet.

edit: oxygen avchd player was available at videohelp but after project stopped it was removed i think. splash is not on videohelp yet so use google.
