I have a little project I'm working on where I'd like to insert some type of cost counter to indicate the price of our stupidity per second. It definitely doesn't need to be exact as this is far from scientific, but mainly I'd like to insert a counter with possibly a dollar sign in front of it to indicate rising cost. That kinda thing...
Does anyone have experience with this and, if so, could you suggest appropriate tools?
Thanks a bunch.
Zeek

Edit: I might also like to have the final number flashing at the very end (maybe a frozen screen with that final number, to drive the point home).

I'd make a subtitle.

Thanks, AlanHK.
And JohnnyMalaria, sorry - I neglected to mention that. The original format is HD - I believe 1080P. But, for what I'm doing, I've cut it down to xvid and that will be more than sufficient quality.
