  1. 1. I just uninstalled and reinstalled my entire operating system. I've used VCD Gear for quite some time now, and never have had a problem. For some reason, when I try now to convert a file from mpeg to cue/bin, I am getting the message "source file can not be opened or accessed" when I hit start (conversion). Is there something I haven't reinstalled onto my system?

    2. I can not play *any* video files in Windows Media Player, properly. They all are terribly slow and the video/audio is totally out of sync. I've attempted to run mpegs and avi files, same result on both. I did check for a WMP update and downloaded the whole update. No help.

    3. (and I have a feeling this may be the origin of most of the problems)...Every time I reboot my system, I get a message of new hard ware found and to install the drivers for the "PCI Multimedia Device." I can not for the life of me locate these drivers on my system...so I just cancel out of it and go on into Windows 98.

    Please help...

  2. Try finding the drivers on the CD that came with your video card.
