How do I make a perfect 1:1 bit-to-bit copy of DVDs?

if you are referring to retail movies, it isn't possible at all. the css is written in an area only pressed dvds can write to.

I have another question that I don't want to create a new topic for.
In DVD Shrink, when I select "No Compression" will there be any loss in audio/video quality? -
As far as video and audio quality goes, YES!!
But then you did not originally ask if there was any quality loss, just if you could make a "bit for bit" copy.
But minidv2dvd is correct about the copy protection, but then who would want to copy/transfer that over 8)
& they don't "write" to pressed dvd's :P
