Moving you to our subtitle section.

Does the source video contain any subtitle?

If not you must type them yourself, using for example subtitle workshop and open the video file and start subing. Or try find subs on the net like http://www.subtitlesource.org/ .

If the source contains subs THEN GIVE US MORE INFORMATION about the source, like dvd-video, avi, etc and are the subs hard/burned in or soft/switchable?

See the Guides section of the site.
Type in "subtitles" and you'll find many articles.

Eg: How to rip DVD subtitles to .srt

    Also see the Tools section.

    DVDSubedit may be useful.

You should carefully check them after ripping; it's an OCR process and not perfect.
Subtitle Workshop is good for editing SRT files.

First, we are here to provide information, not hunt down files for you.

second, anyone assisting you is helping you with a movie you copied from your friend, therefore violating forum rules.
