I know that when you save an image as .jpg it compresses the quality. I was wondering when you search for a .jpg picture on google and select right click save picture as .jpg, does this compress the image quality at all? Or is it just saving the original picture the way it was uploaded without re-compressing it?

You're saving the photo as you see it, no diff.
Although some people tend to put up large photos and resize them in the HTML code so they look smaller on the web page then they really are.
I don't see it happen very often but it does happen.
You can usually tell because it will take to long for a thumbnail to load
