Hello,Its my second post,I have previously converted two complete season of "desperate housewives" Season1 and 3 into avi. I had decrypted the DVDs into hard disk using DVD decrypter then through AutoGK I've successfully converted into avi's.It's working just fine.
Now when I try to do the same for Season 2 DVDs,the avi file's audio/video is out of sync(maybe 2-3 seconds difference). Please help me with this.
Also: I've seen that in the "DVD Decrypter" window, The first VTS had 3 files(Episode+2),and the rest had 2 files(episode+1) each.while with s1 and s3 DVDs I've seen that the first VTS had two files and the rest had only 1 file each.Just to be clear.Pls help.

Are you opening the vobs in autogk? or vtsxxx.ifo?

But I would probably just try another free converter like HandBrake. It can also convert to avi xvid.

ive been a lurker for awhile on this site and recently i started ripping my dvds into avi format. i had great results with autoGK with a couple dvds but one was WAY out of sync with the sound. so i tried just about every program out there, and not just the free ones, and nothing worked at all. then i read this post and i saw you mention HandBrake and i just had to register and give my thanks to you because it worked. finally!! im so happy. thank you so much. HandBrake is very easy to use, i am a newbie and i had no problems..perfect results on my first try. so, if you guys run into a dvd that just wont rip to avi in sync then use HandBrake. here is my program list:
    1. rip dvd with anydvd
    2. extract main titles with clonedvd
    3. mount iso image with virtual dvd drive
    4. open and convert ifo with handbrake or autoGK
