    i have this movie file that was originally a .MKV file. after trying to convert it to AC3, it came up w/ that particular extension. now, i'm unable to convert it to a ps3 playable extension. any solution? thx.

    Oh. i originally convert it using MKV Audioconverter because the mkv contained DTS audio so i thought it'll help if i can convert the audio to AC3. so yeah, the source audio is/was DTS. got that info from loading the MKV on TSMuxer.

    Demux the H264 and DTS streams from the original MKV. Use eacto to encode an new AC3 audio track. Remux the H264 and AC3 into a new container. The PS3 will happily play M2TS files, or you can mux an MP4 with AC3 audio.

    You might try changing the MDxT extension to somethuing useful, like M2TS or MP4 and see if loads.
