  1. On my Local Area Network, a Network Authorization scheme was recently implemented. Now, if I want to get on the internet, I have to first click on a small installed software on my computer called Ruijie Supplicant and then click Connect. The problem is, when I want to use a VPN, like Hotspot, about 15 seconds after I connect to the VPN, the Ruijie Supplicant pops up and I am kicked off the internet. See screenshot. My question is: Does anybody have any idea how I can get around this? If I click Connect at this point I can get back on the internet, but the VPN connection is lost. If I click Adapter (red circle), there will be listed any VPN's that I have installed such as TAP VPN Adapter or TAP-Win32 Adapter V9, but I cannot connect to the internet if any of these are chosen. I can only connect to the internet if Intel(R) Pro/100 VE Network Connection is chosen.

    EDIT:
I know nothing about Ruijie Supplicant.
I once did the following for another reason, using openVPN software.

This was with a static IP address (192.168.1.201) on the Local Area Network (LAN)

Write down the TCP/IP addresses for the LAN Adapter, Gateway & DNS server.
    Write down the subnet mask.

Bridge the LAN Adapter and the TAP-Win32 Adapter.

Change the new Bridge Adapter TCP/IP properties to the same addresses as you wrote down.

    Log on to the LAN
    Log on to the VPN

    Perhaps this will help.
