MKV HD > DVD. Why is the picture lacking a bit?

Hello there...
I have some MKV files on my computer, in 1280x720p and with 1500kbps DTS sound... I´ve converted these to MP4 using XviD4PSP, keeping the resolution and the surround sound... Then i´ve converted them once again to DVD using ConvertX2DVD, and on my computer it´s looking fine, but when I play them on my Samsung 40" Flatscreen, the picture in lacking a bit, it´s like some of the frames is missing (My flatscreen is connected to my DVD-player via SCART). But when I play the DVD on my old TV, it´s looking just fine... What´s wrong? Can anyone help me??

Frame rates? Try HDMI?

I believe ConvertX will use DgPulldown when going from 23.976 fps to 25 fps. This may confuse some DVD players.
