  1. I am pretty new at this. I successfully ripped a DVD. After several steps I successfully burned a VCD which successfully plays on my wifes win2k system but hangs my system. My system is approx. 6 months older than my wife's. I can play DVDs, commercial VCDs, AVI files, and MPEG files BUT NOT my VCDs. Why????? Help!!!!

  3. Haven't tried copying the .dat file to the HD. As I said the VCD plays fine on my wife's win2k system so I thing the .dat is fine.

    Thanks

  5. Not a problem ... We both use CinePlay to play DVDs, etc. Works on my wifes system for VCDs but not mine. I have also tried QuickVCD - same result. The simple insertion of the VCD disk causesthe SW to hang on my system.

    Thanks
