    seems the major concern is loss of post count...oh brother
    they were always touting backing up...
    I also read tons of people mistake post count for authority in subjects
    I've learned a lot from people with less than 50
    remember to backup your db

    It's more than just post count. There were a LOT of good posts made there in the past 2-3 months, in terms of technical information and reviews on hosts.

    The count is secondary to that.

    I went in to see if my question had been answered...namely why my .info domain from Godaddy that's masked and forwarded never ended up being masked and never indexed by the search engines...

    It's honestly shameful how they relied purely on on-network backups, having only backups off-line (5 months old!) to revert to . Twice a month should be a minimum, for offline backups.
