I am trying to use this program (Audio DVD Creator) to burn to a DVD. The files are audio (not music). When I select the .mp3 or the .wav format (tried both), I get the error failed to add files to project because the format is not supported. I keep trying and even used the tools that come in the program. Can anyone please help... I want to use the DVD in a stand alone player. Buring to CD would require 3 CD's versus 1 DVD. Searched and search the net and can't find a solution.

    Thank you

  2. What is the format that your audio files are in ?

I think Audio DVD program only takes wave file or legal MP3.

Most of those audio DVD softwares are pretty crappy from what I've read about them.
I would try to add some different MP3 files to see if they load.

Just a wild guess — the DVD-Video specs require audio sampled @ 48kHz,
and your source files are @ 44.1kHz.

    AND/OR...

Maybe your MP3s contain pics embedded in the ID tags,
which might confuse the outdated mp3-decoders.

I'm guessing he means "Legal" as within official specs.
That term is often used to describe formats that are or are not within specs.

So before you go and get your panties all in a bunch you should just chill.

So either your audio files are bad or there is something wrong with the program, or it is simply user error.
But i have use the program several times over the past few years with no problems so....

Maybe posting the EXACT specs of your "files" might shed some light.

    @ Midzuki

The program will automatically resample the audio files to 48 during the conversion.

  7. Have you added the audio files within the program and then instructed it to create the audio DVD (the creation of the DVD compatible audio files can take 1-2 hours)? Once these files have been created, you can use any DVD burning program to burn the DVD and play it in your DVD player.

I have been using the program for 3 years without any problems.

I had the same problem. I was attempting to add .wav files that were Mono. DVD Audio Creator cannot handle these, but they are easily converted to Stereo and will then work. Good luck.
