quality of transmitted video

Hi everyone, i'm doing a small research about the effect of quality of wireless network to the quality of transmitted video. i need to be able to adjust the network bandwidth in various size. i also need to be able to know what is the congestion level of a wireless network at a certain period. Would anyone please tell me where i can get free bandwidth limiting and congestion measure software? Thanks

Probably not exactly what you want, but I use a program called Wirelessmon that will tell you who's using which wireless channel and the bandwidth of their router. http://www.passmark.com/products/wirelessmonitor.htm I find it handy for setting my router on a less congested channel. It gives me a lot more info than my PC's wireless page.

however i need the tools for ad hoc wireless network, so there's no router in the network
