Hi, so I just put in 2 Pioneer DVR-216 burners and was wondering should I upgrade the firmware or just wait until I have issues? Kinda like go with the don't fix it if it's not broken or are firmware upgrades always good? Also where can I download the official DVR-216 firmware. apparently I am having issues finding it on the pioneer site

It's better to use the latest firmware. But then again I always use hacked firmware for my dvd burners.

Hey dqtus, I just received one of these burners also. Does your eject button feel like a gumdrop?! Mine wiggles around quite a bit and i don't know if it's broken or not? My opinion on firmware.. go with the latest OFFICIAL release.

I have 2 of those 216 drives and the eject buttons are fine. IMHO RMA that drive in a heartbeat!
