I play my movies on my dvd player with usb in it. But, alas, "same name trick" (like ex. movie.avi and movie.srt) doesnt work. But yesterday, I was able to watch a movie (single AVI file) which included a subtitle that can be turned on/off, I believe it's called "softcoded"(?)....How do I "re-convert" my AVI to AVI (too) with softcoded subtitle in it? thanks in advance!

Probably better asked and answered in our Subtitle Forum. Moving you. And you might check the 'stickies' at the top of that forum.

    And welcome to our forums.
