what i am trying to do is encode vob to x264...

I have a few ripped (using cloneDvD) vob files ....

some have encoded without any error log.......and few r not encoding at all ....(using the same resolution / x264 profile on all )

error log says: An error occured x264 [error]: could not open ..........filename.avs

    what does it mean???

I created the d2v files.......created the avisynth file.......choose the x264 profile and bitrate....que....then start ...then error?????
    why????

the thing i noticed is that ...megui and mpc says the vob has resolution 720*480......but the windows media player plays it at 640*480....which i believe is the correct one................but i have encoded few similar vobs in similar way ...but few r giving error message............

can any one help me plz..thank you

  2. 1) post your avs script

    2) can you preview that avs script in mpc or virtualdub, what error message does it give

    3) post the megui log file

  5. If you can't preview/render the avs script in MPC, it won't work in megui or any application. It means there is a problem with your script

Try re-indexing (i.e. create a new .d2v file) and create a new avs script. If you move the files, or update to a new version it needs to be re-indexed. If that doesn't work, do it with DGIndex manually to create the script (not using megui d2v creator)
