I've got some 4-5 year old DVD movies which I can see right thru the surface from a certain angle, does that mean that these discs are about to fail?
Is there a reason for the discs to become "see-thru", I'm quite certain this did not occur when the discs were new.
Thanks.

I saw some discs like this at a computer show, and I asked if I could test them. They didn't work worth a darn, and I suspect they were Asian bootlegs.
