Hello,
I have been searching to no avail for an open source mac program that allows me to rip subtitles from a DVD into a text file.
Anyone know what I need?
Thanks,
Jake

D-Subtitler has not worked for me at all, although I've only ever tried it after upgrading to Snow Leopard. It always presents it's "test" screen (where you select the best contrast to view the subtitles) as all white, no matter what setting I use. And the console is full of error messages about deprecated and unavailable commands.
FFMpegX, while out of date, (no development in several years) seems to work ok, although it's a bit more tricky to get working.
