I'm doing some minor editing and re-authoring some existing dvd's.
I've been advised to demux, accomplish my audio editing (maybe some video too), and then remux.
I've tried PgcDemux several times, it is great, but it won't let me trim the video to the desired length the way DgIndex does. I just really like DgIndex better for this, as well as other features.
(plus, a couple of times PgcDemux only demuxed the first 30 minutes of a 2-hour dvd, and reported "finished ok".)
On the other hand, it seems DGI can not demux subtitles, so I have to make a second trip back to the well with PgcDemux to get the subs anyway.
Is there such a tool that can let me trim the way DGI does, and also demux the subtitles? Preferably free, of course, but I'm open to persuasion.....

ProjectX. But it depends on the content and structure of the DVD if this works correctly, as projectX was not made to demux DVDs. For simple single vob files it should work.

borax, thank you. Again!
I'll give it a try (I'm ripping to one single long vob, so hopefully it will be ok.)grannyGeek ~~
