    Hello,

I have searched high and low here and Google but no clear answers.

I am trying to re-encode Rollerblade Blu-Ray using RipBot264. The first part goes well until the MPC screen comes up where you can view the AviSynth script but it has a red text reading:

DirectShow Script Error Cannot allocate memory because no size has been set

maybe not exactly that but I am at work right now.

I have re-encoded lots of Blu-Ray discs before never a problem. However, this is the first time I am doing it on the new Vista x64 machine.

Latest version of all the core tools are installed:

    ffdshow
    avisynth
    mkvtoolnix
    RipBot264
    tsmuxeR

I have a feeling it may be ffdshow related but, I can not seem to get it. I have tried re-installing ffdshow and resetting the configs but still get the error. It sucks that it takes about 5 minutes each time I have to try to reproduce the problem. RipBot is fine up until this point and then after MPC crashes, RipBot is idle.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Vista and 64bits = problems.

Have you tried different ffdshow 64bit versions?

    Thanks Baldrick

No, I have not ... I was thinking of trying out the 64bit version on Sourceforge but usually stay away from beta unless I have to

Let me try that and see if it helps. Should I remove ffdshow 32 first?

Just to follow up... I have installed the 64bit ffdshow and it still does not work. So I am sticking to my 32bit system for now with RipBot.

Handbrake works fine so that will get more of a workout moving forward. I just miss the visual feedback in Handbrake Win that I get in Handbrake-MacOSX.

    Cheers!
