I have just added VOB2MPG to my little bag of video tools, but when I used it to convert a VIDEO_TS folder to MPEG I got the commentary audio track too. How to I use this to convert WITHOUT the commentary track added?![]()

Use DVD Shrink first to get just the movie with the audio track you want, then use VOB2MPG on this folder to get your MPG file.

VOB2MPG just extracts everything from the VOBs. You would probably then need to demux the MPEG audio streams out and eliminate any extra tracks. The author is coming out with VOB2MPG Pro in the near future and it seems to have the capability of choosing audio tracks. Alternately, you could try DVD Decrypter and it may let you choose audio tracks. Or run the DVD through DVD Shrink first with no compression, then VOB2MPG, and use Shrink to eliminate any extra stuff. (EDIT: Or what guns1inger said.
)
Probably several other better ways, maybe other members will add. -
VOB2MPG v3 will allow you to do this.
SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
VOB2MPG PRO, Extract mpegs from your DVDs - with you in control! -
Thanks, ChrissyBoy. Wow, two new programs. You have been working hard.
