Three times a year I go to conventions and listen to talks. They broadcast on the FM for the hearing impaired. I record them with an old, Sony Digital Voice Recorder. It's doesn't have FM, so I bring a radio and record from it. My Sony, ICD-P210 has served me OK over the years, but I need to get a new recorder.
I thought about an ipod, so when not recording the conventions, I could use it for music. Not to impressed with them after reading Wikipedia. They say lots of complaints about early HD failure, buttons breaking off, battery life degrades fast. The modles I looked at can't record off FM.
I can't remember, but years a go a person told me what he used. I think it was a zune or something. What is a good choice for recording voice off FM?
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Chris.

I googled and discovered Griffin once made an "iFM" attachment for iPods that allowed users to record FM radio. Maybe one of the iPod forums will have more info.
Good luck
