TOO MANY ffdshow icons in taskbar

Hi,

I am importing 30 second .avi clips into premiere. For every video clip I import into premiere pro cs3, 2 ffdshow icons appear in the taskbar (1 for audio, 1 for video). I'm importing 100+ clips at a time that I need for a highlight reel I'm making. Doing this floods my taskbar with tons of ffdshow icons. The icons go away after I close premiere, but they take over half my taskbar space and it's a bit annoying while working. I'd like to know what I can do to fix this issue. Thank you.

you can disable in the configuration:

[minidv2dvd]

start/programs/ffdshow/ there are setting options to turn off the icons in both audio and video settings.

Thank you both for taking the time to help me with this issue which now seems a bit silly that I didn't know about it, even though I did browse through the settings before posting the question.
