  2. What's an adaptive interlace? Do you mean to say adaptive deinterlace?

    What makes you think it's interlaced? That question may sound stupid on the face of it, but there's a reason I ask. Is this a movie, by chance? To answer the question, though, AviSynth has the best deinterlacers, if it actually needs deinterlacing. And if this is for DVD, the chances are very good it doesn't need deinterlacing.
