Hello everybody
Great forum.
I have this excellent DVD player and I know the USB port can be used to plug pen drives, external hard drives etc. to play music, movies.
I was wondering however, if it is possible to connect a laptop (or a desktop) in place of the USB stick to have a little more control on the files available to the player. Is this is a stupid question or what ?
Has anyone tried that ?
Regards

your player will only recognize a mass storage device . I.E. It acts as master/Host in the USB chain, PC also trys to act as HOST thus incompatible. There is even the possibility of damage if you somehow do connect the two

Whatever you do, don't connect a computer usb port directly to the usb port of the player with a standard usb cable.
I don't have one so don't know if a usb bridge would work. There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.
