Ok, when I tried to convert my LOTR movie, it wouldn't convert the sound, so I loaded the file into Virtual Dub and extracted the wav file, then split it using SoundForge (I had to do it that way, VirtDub wouldn't extract just the second half for some reason) well I got the first CD combined and burned fine. It's the second CD I'm having trouble with. The movie is in two 1 and 1/2 hour avi files, so I am spliting them into 4 CDs. So I go in and select the middle of the file for the startframe, and select the last of the file for the endframe, I have also loaded the wav file in as the audio. But it won't add it, so I went in and ONLY changed the start/end frames. I changed it from Middle-End to Start-Middle, and the sound was there. How do I get the sound to combine when I start the conversion in the middle of the file?
I hope this makes since.
