Hello. I recently downloaded what I thought was a video file with an extension .mv2.mpeg. I'm not able to play this in Widows media player nor am I able to convert it using TMPENGenc.
When the file is opened with Windows media player, it tries to download a codec them craps out saying it couldn't find a matching codec. It then goes on to play only the audio portion of the file.
Is mv2 some type of audio compression?
Thanks,
Robert

Sounds like a MPEG2 Video file, which would propably only be playable on either WinDVD or PowerDVD (or other software DVD players).
