    I have TMPGenc DVD Author 3 on both my desktop and laptop. Everything works fine on my desktop, I can see the subtitles in playback and simulation but it won't show when I try to do the same thing on my laptop. It's strange because I use the same version of the software on both machines. It's with .srt subtitles if that's any help. I don't know what's causing this problem, perhaps RAM or the limited hardware on my laptop. Athlon 64 Turion 1.6Ghz, 1GB RAM. Any help is appreciated.

    Check if ffdshow is installed on both computers. If it is next step is to check if vobsub is enabled.
