  1. Hello, I converted a DVD movie to Divx usign AutoGK.

    Auto GK spit out 4 subtitle files:

    1) movie.idx 54kb
    2)movie.sub 3206KB
    3)movie.sub.cc.srt 94kb
    4)movie.sub.cc.unicode.srt 188KB

    My DVD player is Liteon brand.

    Many divx dvd players supports both idx/sub and srt subs. So I would just test on a cdrw/dvdrw.

    1,2: The idx and sub should be together. It's dvd image based subtitles and are most common on dvds.
    3: Closed captioned srt text subtitles. Open in notepad to check that they look okey.
    4: Closed captioned srt text subtitles in unicode format. This might not work that well on your dvd player.
