Problem in Xvid4PSP

Hi all,

i have been converting all my old dvds into x264 format.but i am getting a serious error everytime i am using Xvid4PSP.

i have uploaded the problem in the image file.
i tried to uninstall and then install it back but i ma getting the same problem.

iam using x264 Q18 Extreme as Video encoding and 448 Kbps AAC as audio encoding
these were the values i used before to get good results.

What did you change in the audio profile? Just the bitrate to 448 or any other parameter ?

Use mediainfo on your source file, list the audio characteristics. If it's a weird number of channels e.g. 3 channel AC3, you may have to downmix/upmix it separately , or use a custom script.

I think you can only use AAC-LC not AAC-HE or AAC-HEPS for 6-channel audio using xvid4psp. , 6channel AAC-HE seems to work fine using other apps (e.g. MeGUI) if you use a wav intermediate

448kbps is overkill for 6-channel AAC, especially from an AC3 or DTS source. You probably can't tell the difference between 320kbps and 448kbps.
