I have tried burning several VCD's using Roxio's Easy Creator 5 - Platium Edition. All indications are that the VCD is created successfully. However, when I place it in my DVD player (JVC XV-S65GD), it brings up a MP3 Menu, showing the directory structure of the CD-R created, but I can't get the video clip to play. I have tried manuvering around the directory structure, but if I press the "enter" key on the DVD remote on any directory entries, the DVD appears to be locked up. This DVD player is advertised as supporting CD-R CD-RW and VCD.
the Menu structure displayed when I insert the disk looks like:
MP3 Control
Group: /
CDDA/
CDI/
KARAKOE/
MPEGAV/
SEGMENT/
VCD/
Each of these entries are directories on the CD, created by Roxio software.
I appears that the disk is being recognized by an MP3 disk, rather than VCD. Is there a way I can check if I am creating the disk properly?
Any help on this problem will be GREATLY appeciated. I bought the DVD player just today, in hopes that it would playback VCD's created this way.
Thanks in Advance,
