  4. I dunno about the version but one noobs mistake i did yesterday is I selected the input video file thinking the input audio file will adjust automaticly to same file name since it was a mpeg-2 file with both video and audio.

Well the audio file did not match automaticly and I end up having a different mpeg-file has audio input. The result was a movie with no sound

Since it was an Mpeg 2 file, Open it in DVD2AVI and save it as a project and frameserve it to TMPG.

The other above issues sounds as Frotsen called it, UP the priority to your DirectShow Vfapi filter

    Yes, me...
I grabb with my asus 7700 deluxe and asus codes a whole 3 hour VHS tape and encode it with tmpgenc 252 plus. It used 2 80 min CDs on xSVCD format (svcd with average bitrate 1200 and resolution 352 X 288, interlace output).
    No frameservers, no virtualdub, nothing.
I used also the sharpen edge filter to 84 both and de-intelace odd field.
The result was amazing. Identical to the VHS tape, for the very first time!
My best VHS to xSVCD convertion ever for low resolution. It prooves what the standard say: VHS is 352X288. I couldn't made it before with previeus tmpgenc versions

  9. I'm still trying to figure out where to get it...

I went to www.TMPGEnc.com and it says the latest version is 2.02?
Where did you get it from?

  10. I have that problem with TMPGENC with every version i have tried 12a 12i 12j 2.02,2.52+ it only happens occasionally but it does happen more with Vhs only 1 0r 2 DVDS have done it.

When i look at the sound through a wave editor it appears there is no left channel i mean its there but contains nothing compared to the right channel but if i convert the sound by itself no problems plays back fine i just remove the original sound from mpeg and replace with the second encoded audio file just multiplex them and burn to cd.

ive just always assummed it was another bug in tmpgenc but since it only takes 20mins to fix ive never worried about it
