Just making sure: FilmRedux is still broken, right?

Has anyone got a successful compile of this to work properly?

I've downloaded it several times, and compiled it,
both on 10.5 and 10.4.11, and it seems to be extremely
broken.
Dragging and dropping .avi, .divx, .wmv, .flv produces
errors in converting to iPod, iPod (5G) or iPod Nano video,
which are my formats of choice.

I found this post at the SourceForge page for it,
which makes me think it is broken:

if anyone has got this to work, please post what you have done to get it to work.
And by WORK, I mean AS WELL AS VisualHub did.

Me, until I hear otherwise, I'm trashing this mess and going back to VisualHub,
which does still work. :P
