I'm wondering how to scale video down in Vegas, not file size, but actual video... I'm going for a picture-in-picture effect.
I can scale inward which basically zooms in on a video using the Event Pan/Crop tool, but when I actually try to shrink down a video within the frame, without cropping any edges of the video off, it doesn't seem to work. Suggestions?
Thanks.

	Maybe an easier way?

Place inserted video on top timeline (timeline 1).
Plase master video on 2nd timeline below the inserted video.
Manipulate track motion on top timeline to shrink and move the video around.
 (Saved one step.!)
