I've found 1 thread that is similar to this, but still couldn't figure out how to fix my issue, so here goes.
I have a wintv-pvr-350 card and have captured approx 100 episodes of Mad About You off of my Tivo. The initial title image that is displayed by the Tivo is 4:3, but once the show starts it is more like 4:3.75. The only other thing that I have captured came out fine. (Tiger Woods chip shot on #16 at the Masters)
Anyway, I am using VirtualDub-MPEG2 to do the conversion to xvid, and I've tried divx as well. The file information from Virtual Dub says that the Frame Size is 720x480, 29.970fps, Aspect Ratio is DAR=2(4:3).
Is there a way to stretch this back out when I convert from MPEG2->xvid?
Let me know what other information is needed.
Thanks

Thanks! I tried working with this configuration screen, but I must have been changing too many things at once. Changing just the DAP fixes it.
Now, can anyone tell me why my PS3 says "The data type is not supported"? The frame size is 720x480, the Decompressor is Xvid MPEG-4 Codec ( I have other avi files that I have downloaded that say they use this codec and work ) the Audio Compression is Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (again other avi files I have downloaded use this codec and work on PS3)
Any ideas?
Thanks.
