If there are mencoder experts out there, I would like to ask if you know a way to blend every two frames into one frame throughout a video. I don't see an option like that in the mencoder options, but maybe there is some way to do it. To be more clear, I am talking about blending the motion of two physical frames into one, as if they were both half transparent and visible at the same time. What I want to do is maintain a strobe effect of a game capture while cutting the framerate in half. I can cut the framerate in half fine, but that's about it. I could do it manually frame by frame with an image editor, but that's pretty ridiculous, not feasible.
