    Hi guys,

I have been at this for days with no luck. Basically to summarise, I have...

    ASDA 4.7, 4 x speed rewitable dvd.

    A 38MB .wmv file

How do I go about writing this file so it will be viewable on a TV, when putting it inside the corresponding DVD player? Can anyone offer advice.

  2. You have to write it in a "structure" or format that the DVD standalone player understands

To author this format, you could choose easy to use GUI's like DVD Flick, FAVC (both free), or convertxtodvd

Most standalone, set-top DVD players do not recognize .wmv files (although a few newer ones actually do). Poisondeathray pointed you toward some tools to make your video DVD-compliant. Just remember that your original .wmv file is compressed and will likely end up looking like crap on your TV.

Also: Read the forum rules about cross posting the same subject in different forum subcategories. That is a no-no. You only needed to post in one place.
