Weird Problem with MPC and WMP

hi.. how can i fix this problem:

i can http stream an avi file using WMP

but the same file does not stream for MPC? (it just says Opening... and it is stuck there forever)

It is still the same issue.

That said, you are trying to stream a non-streaming format from a non-streaming site - why would you expect it to work consistently ?

VLC is by far the best player for viewing incomplete or partially downloaded avi files. That is essentially what you are trying to do in this case.

But you were told that already in the other thread.

MPC is not doing what you want because you are trying to do something silly, and MPC isn't designed to do it.
