    Hi,

can some one please let me know how can I connect external HDD to my DVD player through its USB port.

I remember somewhere, that it may be done through some kind of re-formatting. But now I am unable to find that information again.

If someone could please tell the process of connecting exernal HDD to DVD.

    Thanks....

The HDD typically needs to be formated FAT or FAT32. Aside from that, support varies from player to player and there are often HDD size limitations. Also, ext HDD's which are powered through the USB cable are often problematic.

Which model DVD player is it ?
Have you read the manual ?

Some older players that have USB ports don't support HDDs, and will only read USB flash drives, either for firmware updates, or for jpeg and MP3 files only.
