    Hi,

I tried to use the region code hack posted by JJFF, June 29, 2008, I found the RH3xx.iso and downloaded it. It's a zipped file. How to burn it as an image to a CD? It's not possible. When I unzip the iso-file I get a file called RMTM0000 which contains a file called Scarlet. What do I have to burn? And what is meant by "must be burnt as an image", do I have to transfer the file to another file extension for images, like jpg or so? Please help me, I have no idea and little computer knowlege only , but it's the only way to watch my US and australian DVDs.

Try by using ImgBurn to burn the .ISO Image to a CD.

Thanks, I'll try. So, if I understand you right, it's not necessary to unzip the iso-file before burning?

I am troubled by your references to "unzipping" the file. If the names ends in .zip, then yes, you must unzip it prior to burning If the name ends in .ISO, then you are NOT unzipping it. You are using something to extract the contents from the ISO and you don't want to do that. You need to burn an ISO file as it is without any extraction. Maybe your unzip program, whatever that is, has the ability to extract the contents from an ISO file. If so, again, do NOT do this. You need to burn an ISO as it is without any changes by you.

I'm sorry to trouble you, but the file is called RH3xx.iso and the type is shown as winzip file. So around the symbol for the file is a bench vice that means it is zipped. I got a program called Winzip to unzip such files. That's why i thought it should be unzipped first. But I'll try to burn the .iso now as it is. Thanks for your help.

No, actually what it means is that Windows has associated WinZip with this program, NOT that it is an actual zip file (it may or may not be). I don't use WinZip. Probably WinZip simply knows how to extract information from ISO format, hence the association. Don't unzip it, burn it as it is and probably that will solve your problem.
