Is it possible to play vcd on a oritron(model-600) dvd player, do i need an hack , will it play cdr or/and cdrw.

Well since the compatibily list doesn't have your player, but it looks like all the other players in your family play vcds on cdrws. Just download the sample vcd clip from "What is VCD" on the left and burn on a cdr, and an rw.
