    Hello everybody

    One of my pc fans makes sometimes very annoying noise, any idea what might be the issue?

    Dirty -- clean it with a brush or air.

    And if that doesn't help, they're cheap to replace with a better quality, quieter, one.

    Which fan ?

    Dust in the bearings can cause nasty noises and is usually a precursor to the fan dying.

    I have antec p180, and the case has 4-5 fans, I don't know exactly which one it is...

    Power each one off individually by pulling the power lead out until you find out which is the culprit.

    I've tried but when I move the case it stops

    Leave the case open.
    When the noise occurs...use a use a piece of hose or
    flexible tubing held to your ear to locate the noisy fan.
    Losing one's sense of humor....
    is nothing to laugh at.
