Hello
OK here is the situation ... long back story but I'll not get into it: I have a HDD that has two partitions. The first partition has some data on it that will soon be moved to another hard drive meaning that eventually this partition will be empty. The second partition has Windows XP Pro installed and is the boot partition.
Can I use GParted to delete the first partition and move/grow the second partition to be the ONLY partition?
Any pitfalls I need to know about before trying to do this?

Backup!
Gparted also needs ntfsprogs http://www.linux-ntfs.org/ according to the http://gparted.sourceforge.net/features.php site
Another app which will do the same
